Our reading glasses are imported from Germany and conform to the European CE Standard of manufacturing, DIN EN 14139 and are available in +1.00, +1.50, +2.00, +2.50, +3.00, +3.50 powers for many of the styles. All glasses come with a protective case. They are light and comfortable to wear and many of the styles feature sprung temples for comfort and flexibility.
All the lenses are optical lenses making them very different from the magnifiers. Our glasses come off the same production line as optometrists glasses.
These frames can also be used to put your own prescription lenses in if need be.
Blue Breaker lenses have UV400 protection. Our eyes are exposed to screen light for several hours a day. Screens such as smartphones, tablets, laptops or computers as well as modern LED and halogen light emit blue light. Blue Breaker glasses absorb more than 40% of this 'blue light'.
